Guard Card Course

Take the first step in becoming an ASAP Security Guard in the San Diego area by completing your Guard Card Training. This Guard Card In-Person training is 8 hours long.

How to sign up for the Guard Card training course – Choose the date and time that you want for your class.

A $20 deposit is required to complete your sign-up for the Guard Card course. After you choose your day and time for the Guard Card Course below, you will receive an email from ASAP Security with a link to pay your deposit. If you do not receive this email right away please check your SPAM folder for our email.

During the Guard Card training, you will learn the following:

• The roles and responsibilities of a security officer
• Legal aspects of arrest power (“Power to Arrest”)
• Observation and documentation
• Basic first aid
• Communication techniques
• Conflict management
• Awareness of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction
• (all mandated by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).)
